Ron Zoldan, a part-owner of Animal Kingdom, shared his experience attending the 2011 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, where the horse won in a stunning performance.
Trained by Graham Motion and ridden by John Velazquez, Animal Kingdom went on to win the 2013 Dubai World Cup, becoming one of the few horses to claim major victories on both dirt and synthetic surfaces.
Reflecting on those moments, Zoldan said, “Being involved with Animal Kingdom through both of those races was truly special.”
